Call Committee: We received a list of eight names from the SED. Pastor Lineberger has contacted each pastor to see whether there is any reason they could not consider a call to Advent. Two have declined and we have not yet received info on one pastor nominated by Advent. The Call Committee is reviewing the profiles of each pastor and will meet on July 5 to prioritize which candidates we would like to interview. Memorial Service: A memorial service for Pauline Ramsey will be held at Advent Lutheran Church, Chapel Hill, NC on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 4:00 pm. Pastor Larry Lineberger will be officiating. We continue to keep her family in our prayers.
