Lansana Sheref Family Designated Fund: So far $890 has been received towards the matching gift of $4,000. If you would like to contribute to help bring the family to Chapel Hill, you may put cash (in an envelope) or checks in the offering plate, hand to Judy Neely, or mail to the church (Attn: Judy Neely). Please note “Lansana Family Fund” on the envelope or in the memo line of your check. Checks should be made payable to Advent Lutheran Church. Any questions, contact John Stow.

PORCH: Keep bringing non-perishables and canned goods to church. These items are taken to those with food insecurity needs in the area. FeedingAmerica.org indicates that 15.4% of North Carolinians are challenged with food insecurities; so about 1 in every 6-7 people don’t have enough food. Let’s keep helping!

Greensboro Tornado Recovery Support: We are continuing to collect school supplies and non-perishable food items. A list of needed school supplies is on a flyer in the narthex. There is an area on the back credenza to place the items. One batch has already been taken to Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Greensboro for distribution. We have requested an update on current and future needs and will let you know as soon as we received a response.
